Information First
Vinnix started from a simple idea: technical products deserve clear information. Research peptides are often sold under ambiguous names. Documentation varies wildly among peptide vendors, and buyers can spend a long time just working out what a product actually is.
Technical information should be clear, properly organized and backed by appropriate documentation. So we put the compound first. A Vinnix product page opens with identity, specifications and documentation, and skips the broad claims that make so many peptide listings hard to trust.
Who We Are
Vinnix Alpha Amino is a research compound supplier, one of many peptide vendors serving laboratories. We sell peptides, peptide blends and amino acids to laboratories and researchers, along with the documentation and educational material they need to evaluate what they buy.
Our mission is easy to say and hard to keep: make every product verifiable. A buyer should be able to confirm what a compound is, which batch arrived and what was measured on that batch, without taking our word for it. You'll find the current catalog on the research peptides page and in the Compound Library.
Research Use Only
Vinnix products are supplied for laboratory research use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis or any clinical application.
That shapes how we write. We don't give instructions for use, and we don't describe outcomes as advantages. When a page discusses published research, it says what the study investigated and labels it in vitro, animal, human clinical or review. Preclinical findings do not establish safety or effectiveness in humans. Read the full terms in the product and research disclosure.
How We Source
Before anything is listed, we hold it to the same information standard we publish for buyers.
- Defined identity. The compound has to be specified tightly enough to match a database record, sequence and terminal modifications included.
- Batch traceability. Each lot needs an identifier that ties the physical product to its records.
- Analytical documentation. Each batch needs reports that name the method, the laboratory and the test date.
- Consistency checks. The reported molecular mass has to agree with the mass expected from the verified formula.
Our quality and documentation page covers these standards, and the documents we expect, in more detail. Our guide to sourcing research peptides lists the questions worth asking any supplier.
How We Document
We document each product at three levels: the compound, the product and the batch.
| Level | What is recorded | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Compound | Name, synonyms, sequence, molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number, PubChem CID | Compound Library |
| Product | SKU, quantity, components of a blend, storage information | Product page |
| Batch | Batch or lot number, testing laboratory, test date, HPLC and mass spectrometry reports | COA Library |
If a value hasn't been confirmed, we leave it off rather than estimate it. Where reports are available, each one links only to the product and batch it describes, so an older certificate never stands in for a newer lot. For a walkthrough of what those reports contain, see how to read a COA.
How Our Pages Are Written and Reviewed
Our editorial standard is simple to state: every factual statement on a Vinnix page traces back to a source you can check.
- Identifiers such as molecular formula, molecular weight and CAS number come from PubChem and are cross-checked against the FDA Global Substance Registration System where the substance is listed.
- We cite published research only after confirming the reference in PubMed, and we label each reference by study type.
- Before publication, each page is checked for accuracy against its sources and for compliance with our research-use-only language rules.
- When a source changes or someone reports an error, we revise the page and record the revision.
The full standard is published as the Vinnix research methodology.
Our Approach: Comparing Peptide Vendors on Evidence
Our website puts product specifications, available analytical documentation and educational resources in one organized place, so complex information is easier to work through, whichever peptide vendors you end up comparing.
When researchers compare peptide vendors, the useful question isn't which seller sounds most confident. It's which one lets you verify the product. We'd rather show our documentation than tell you how we stack up, so we make no ranking claims about ourselves. Judge us on what we publish.
Our Standards
Our standards boil down to three commitments you can hold us to.
Clear Product Information
Every listing carries the compound, SKU, quantity and verified identifiers, so visitors can identify a product and find related resources quickly.
Organized Documentation
Available documentation is attached to the relevant product and batch, then collected in one searchable library.
Education
The Vinnix Research Library explains the terms you'll meet in peptide chemistry and analytical testing, so the documentation is readable, not just available.
An Expanding Resource
We'll keep publishing on peptide chemistry, amino acids, analytical methods and individual compounds. New articles go into the Research Library (start with understanding peptide research) and new compound profiles into the Compound Library, as the catalog grows and as readers ask questions we haven't answered yet.
Contact
Questions about products, documentation, orders or anything else on this site can go to [email protected]. The contact page lets you pick an inquiry type so your message lands with the right person.
FAQFrequently asked questions
How is Vinnix different from other peptide vendors?
Mostly in what we choose to publish. Vinnix product pages lead with verified compound identity, SKU and batch identification, and each batch will link to its own analytical reports once published. Published research is cited with PubMed references and labeled by study type. We don't make outcome claims, and any value we haven't confirmed is left off rather than guessed.
Who are Vinnix products for?
Vinnix products are supplied to laboratories and researchers for research use only, not for human or veterinary use, diagnosis or any clinical application. We expect buyers to handle and use materials in line with applicable laws and their institution's requirements, as the Vinnix terms and the product and research disclosure set out.
How can I check a Vinnix product myself?
Start with the compound profile and note the expected molecular weight. Next, open the certificate of analysis for your batch in the COA Library once it's published and check that the batch number matches. Compare the mass spectrometry result with the expected mass, and read the HPLC purity value alongside its method. The Research Library walks through each step.
